Q: Who can take advantage of these discounts?
A: As part of the agreement with Sprint Nextel, all Active employees and retirees of the Government who meet Sprint Nextel's eligibility requirements can receive the discounts. Examples are: State Employees, City and Town Employees, Teachers, Police, Fire, EMT, Public Hospitals and Universities, DPW, Animal Control, etc.

Q: What If I work for the US Post Office and would like a discount?
A: US Postal Service Employees have a seperate discount and can shop for discounted wireless services at the USPS Employee Wireless Discount Store

Q: I work at a Private University - Can I get a Discount?
A: University and College Employees can get their own discount on Wireless Phones and Service by shopping at the College Employee Discount Wireless Store.

Q: I don't work for an agency where I can get a wireless discount. Where could I go?
A: If your looking for a great deal on cell phones then shop at Cheap Cell Phones .They offer more free cell phones than any retail store from all of the wireless carriers. Most cell phones are free.

Q: If I have an existing account, am I eligible to receive the discounts?
A: Yes, the discounts can be applied to Government employees existing accounts as well as new accounts.

Q: Are there any other advantage to Government employees as part of this agreement?
A: Yes, all activation and shipping fees are waived, discounted equipment and discounted accessories.

Q: What service plans are available to Government employees?
A: The most current plans available can be found at Government Employee Discounts for Sprint.

Q: Are Family & Shared plans eligible to receive the monthly service plan discount?
A: Yes

Q: How many phones or accounts can a Government employee establish under this agreement?
A: Sprint Nextel will apply discounts to five lines of service. If a request is made for over five lines then additional credit information is needed.

Q: Is the 15% discount applied to the Simply Everything Plans?
A: The 15% discount does not apply to the Unlimited Simply Everything plan. The 15% does apply to the 450/900 Everything Data and Everything Messaging plans.

Q: How will the devices and accessories be delivered?
A: All devices and accessories will be delivered via Government Priority Mail.
